I've always been interested in tie dyes, but it wasn't until a few years ago that I became involved in creating my own tie dye t shirts. My wife Chelle and I just couldn't seem to find the right colors or patterns that we liked, so after a lot of research and trial & error, I finally was able to make some really cool tie dyes that we both loved and so did everyone else! I tend to use a lot of dark colors in my patterns including black which I feel really sets my designs a part from other dyers. Don't get me wrong, I still love a bright classic swirl and they're probably one of my favorites to make because of the instant color blending while I dye them.
